• Almost 3 weeks away!!!

  Wow!! I cannot believe that we are only 3 more weeks and a couple days away from the national release of Soul Surfer -- the inspiring true story of surfer Bethany Hamilton and also Carrie's premiere movie debut! How times flies...... =) Most of us Carrie fans have known about and have been waiting to see this movie now for over 2 years.....ever since before they started principle filming back in Spring 2009. Now the time is finally almost here!!! =)

  Lets really go ALL OUT Carrie fans for supporting this movie these next few weeks......not only because Carrie is in it (that's a BIG plus, I know!) but also because it is a wonderful family film. A film about courage, devotion, good faith, and if you put your mind to it and never give up.....you can accomplish anything. This is a wonderful film for churches, church groups, and Christian organizations! If you are a member of or close with a church, recommend a showing of Soul Surfer to your pastor or youth group leader. Everyone can visit http://www.soulsurferwave.com/share and get all the Banners, Images, Icons, and Wallpapers you can think of for promoting Soul Surfer -- just like the one above. Put them on all your social sites, your blogs, etc. etc. Lets let everyone we know know all about this upcoming spectacular film!! =)

  I know like many of you, I have been waiting over 2 years to finally see this film and I SO cannot wait until Friday, April 8th!! I will be there to see it opening day for sure! Only 23 more days guys and gals! Til next time.........

  Hello friends and fellow OFC members......

  I hope this blog post finds everyone well. :) I'm leaving this note today as a reminder that we are running out of time to vote for our girl as Entertainer of the Year at this year's ACM Awards!!

  We are coming down to less than 5 days away......the awards are this Sunday!! Let's make country music history and make Carrie the first woman ever to win ACM EOTY two years in a row!! I have faith and know we can do this!! :)

• Merry Christmas Everyone!

  Here we are once again closing out another year together at Carrie's OFC. Maybe all the original members noticed this......but we also passed another special anniversary the other day. The same day that Carrie's engagement news broke!! =) All of us original members just passed 4 years now with Carrie's fan club -- 12/21/06. It is so hard to believe.....I can still remember that first night, waiting patiently and SO EXCITED around 12am ET for the FC to go online. Seems like just yesterday.

  Now another year has passed.........another album of Carrie's has been released.......another tour about to start. Where does the time go anymore?? I'm so proud to call all of you my "Carrie Family." You all are a special group of people and hold a very special place in my heart. I'm so thankful that Carrie is a part of our lives everyday and by knowing and loving her.....it has brought us all together. I know 2010 is going to be one amazing year for all of us as we get to "Play On" all over the country!! I can't wait!

  In closing, I want to take the time to wish all of you......from my family to yours...... a very Happy Holiday season and a very Merry Christmas! My brakes went out on my truck today on Christmas Eve driving to work.......let's just say I was glad I made it there and home ok. It was like someone ^^{^^} up above was watching over me. Remember the true reason for the season

• Play On 2010 Pre-Sales Day 1

  Well, Day 1 is done and in the books! How did everyone do?? I'd love to hear about which shows you all are going or planning on going to and what kind of tickets you got today. Feel free to comment on this blog or leave a comment below. :)

  Right now, I'm planning on Van Andel in GR and also The Breslin in East Lansing. I picked up 6th row tickets today to Van Andel -- which was pretty awesome being I only got 11th row when Carrie came in 2008. I'm 5 rows closer!! :) I wasn't too impressed with what I got for pre-sales with Breslin today. No floor seats left whatsoever -- they were up on the sides in the bleachers. I think I'll wait til 10am on Friday with the general sale to see what I can get.

  So far my 2010 is lining up like this........Brad Paisley on Jan 23rd, Tim McGraw on Feb. 27th, and Carrie on April 14th and 23rd. It's going to be one AMAZING and exciting Spring for me! :) As with the announcement of any new tour from Carrie, there is always a slew of new fans joining up everyday so they can get their early pre-sale tickets. There is already almost 10 new faces from MI that I don't know when I click on "SEE FANS NEAR YOU." It is super exciting to see this for Carrie and for her OFC.........a wonderful chance to meet new Care Bears. If you're new out there, please feel free to say Hi, ask questions, ask me to be your friend......whatever. :) Carrie fans are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. ;)

  Friday Public Sale Update

  Got my Breslin tickets this morning!! I got one row closer than what I could have got in the OFC pre-sale so I was happy with that. I'd prefer closer.....but I'll settle for these. :) I'm sitting in Bleacher Section 128, Row 3 just left of the aisle that comes down from the top. Can't wait for the show! ;)
